What I had in mind for this challenge was me standing on a bridge over a highway or near the side of the road in the evening while capturing the cityscape with car swishing by.
That didn't happen, so one evening I tried leaving the shutter open while in a moving car. I think I would have been able to achieve what I envisioned had the car been stationery and the roads not bumpy. Maybe next time I'll just stop on the side of the road, throw cautions to the wind, not think about how conspicuous and dodgy I might look and just do it. Anyway, this is what I got:
One evening, during the many power cuts we've been having in our area lately, I grabbed the camera and a Nokero solar light bulb and gave light-painting (a form of long exposure) a go. This was quite fun I must say.
The shutter on my compact can only stay open for 4 seconds, therefore I took the letters individually and joined them together.
This made me think of the song "(What's so Funny 'Bout )Peace, Love and Understanding" written by Nick Lowe.
